Tiller Dives Deep for Solution
November 19, 2010
V200 developed in conjunction with our client Mobilarm Ltd has received an enthusiastic response from the US Navy.
V200 is an emergency transmitter beacon for submariners. Compact and intuitive to operate, it is capable of surviving depths up to 450m of seawater. It is the only product of its type that is serviceable and is purpose built to fit US Navy survival suits. Additionally, it facilitates communication on multiple platforms including VHF voice, DSC, AIS and 121.5MHz as well as passes all regulatory and environmental testing standards.
The project combines both the rigorous quality control processes of Tiller Scientific + Medical with the intuitive functional form approach of Tiller Design, to create a product that is meticulously reliable in operation and extremely simple to operate in treacherous conditions.
More information on the V200 can be found in our case studies.
